About Storybook Island's Fairytale 5k

A Magical Fun Run for All Ages!
Join us for a whimsical morning of fun, fitness, and fundraising at the Fairytale 5K — a special event benefiting Storybook Island! Lace up your running shoes, grab your crown or cape, and head to the OLD Storybook Island Shelter.

This enchanting event is perfect for the whole family — whether you run, walk, push a stroller, or pull a wagon, everyone is welcome. Don your best fairytale costume and compete for prizes like Best Dressed, Top Fundraiser Team, and Most Money Raised by an Individual. Rally your friends and family to join your team and fundraise together in support of Storybook Island’s mission to keep imagination alive for generations to come.

Kids are welcome to run/walk for free, however if they would like to be included in giveaways they will need to register. 

Enjoy food trucks, games, and plenty of photo-worthy moments throughout the morning. All proceeds help keep Storybook Island free and magical for kids and families across our community.

When?

 Saturday, September 12th.
Check-in opens at 9:00 AM
Race begins at 10:00 AM!

$30 Registration at Event

**Friendly dogs on a leash are are welcome at the 5K event! (Old Storybook Island Shelter)**

Please do not bring dogs inside of Storybook Island Park gates.
